The Mike Verkest Professional Excellence Award is granted to individuals who exemplify outstanding service and dedication in the transport and/or critical care industry. Award nominees are distinguished by their leadership both inside and outside their organizations, their innovative contributions that promote growth and enhance patient outcomes, and their commitment to mentoring others in the field.

The Allen Wolfe Jr. Excellence in Leadership Award celebrates individuals recognized for their lifetime achievements and leadership within the transport and/or critical care industry. This award acknowledges those who have made consistent, outstanding contributions to patient care and demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, including integrity, mentorship, and collaboration with diverse groups.

The Enduring Impact Award recognizes critical care leaders whose contributions have profoundly shaped the profession. Their work has elevated standards of practice, influenced generations of clinicians, and created a lasting legacy of excellence. Recipients of this award are selected by the FlightBridgeED team.
